Reply to Sejal Said's Myrtle to Tom letter

Dear Myrtle,
It is true that I shower you with all these gifts and that you are truly a wonderful mistress. I'm afraid that that's all you'll ever be to me. It's good that you won't ever mention Daisy's name ever again too, or it won't just be your nose feeling pain. I do care for you of course, if I didn't I would have left you already. You should cherish me more than you already do because I will be the best man to ever come into your life. So don't worry dear, you may not be perfect but I'll still spoil you with all these gifts regardless.
Yours truly,
Tom B.

Letter from Daisy to Gatsby

Dear Gatsby,
Oh how I've always longed for you. Tom? Who is Tom? You were always the one I wanted. I'm not sure if it's infatuation or love, but I wanted you. How I ever ended up with Tom leaves me in mystery. I want to go around the world with you or just sit on a bench on a sunny day with my white dress on and have a talk together. Anything but this monster would have been better. I was so lost though, I was still too naive to make the right choice and everything seemed impossible since we led two different lives. I'm sorry if it was me that made a foolish mistake, please listen to my words. Please listen to me and want to hear my voice. Don't you love me? I know you do. Oh, stand by me Jay. Don't leave me, and this time I'll stay.
Love,
Daisy

The Truth Behind it All

The quote "In his blue gardens, men and girls came and went like moths among the whisperings and the champagne and the stars," shows how shallow and materialistic the people were at Gatsby's party. Nick compares the people to moths because they are attracted to the whisperings and the champagne the same way that moths are attracted to light. Nick also describes Gatsby's gardens as being "blue," which can stand for hope that Gatsby has. The way that Nick describes the men and the girls shows how Nick just sees these females as chasing after the rich men. He looks down upon the women and he somewhat feels superior compared to them. Nick could have said men and "women" but he chose the word "girls" which makes them seem less mature compared to the so-called "men." Even though Nick says that he's not the type to judge people, he judges the people surrounding him without even knowing it.
The people there are all so eager to be a part of the gossip and the drinking of alcohol. The fact that they "came and went like moths" reveals how much these people cared about living the big life and how they indulge themselves with the luxurious parties.

What to know about me..

I'm Angela and I'm the type of person who lives her life to the fullest. I love playing volleyball and I plan to play for college. Singing is a passion of mine and I do it and practice it all the time. Traveling is one thing I want to do with the first real money I earn. It would be fantastic to go around the world and experience nature everywhere else. Whenever I try to get my mind off things, I tend to write and write until I get the heavy feeling off my chest. My friends and everyone who is close to me are the most important people in my life, because they are another way to help me cheer up! They help me get through problems, make me happy and always know how to give me a good laugh. I wouldn't know what to do without them in my life! :D
